The king of Iteso, HRH Paul Sande Etomeileng Emolot has argued all the Iteso to embrace the forthcoming Population and Housing census that shall commence next week so as to clearly determine how many Iteso are and what conditions they live in for proper planning. This was at the burial ceremony for one of his subjects that he graced in Amagoro Ward in Malaba Town Council.
HRH Emorimor further appealed to Iteso to cherish hard work and unity for the good of Ateker.
He advised against petty disagreements, encouraging his people to respect one another\’s different views in a spirit of peaceful coexistence in diversity.
He also appealed to Ateker members to adhere to the promotion of Ateso spoken for the good of the young generation.
Present in the function was Tororo County MP Hon. Fred Angura who asked the Ateker to promote tree planting as environmental protection to address the bigger problem of Climate Change .
