His Royal Highness Papa Emorimor- Paul Sande Etomeileng Emolot on 30th July 2024 attended the burial of Hon. Aleper, a member of the Central Executive Committee for Karamoja. A somber mood enveloped Kangole in Napak district today as hundreds of mourners gathered to bid farewell to the late Simon Peter Aleper, the NRM Vice Chairperson for Karamoja who died in a motor accident . Hon Aleper, a respected and dedicated leader, received a state burial.
The event took place in Kangole and was attended by various Members of Parliament, ICU ministers, Dr Eriaku. The Chief Guest was Her Excellency Toto, Vice President Alupo Jesica, along with Karamoja elders.
