It has come to the attention of the Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) that a group of individuals is circulating and publishing information regarding the Institution without the knowledge or consent of the responsible office bearers.
We wish to remind all stakeholders that the ICU is a formal institution with established communication protocols. All official communication must be issued only through the designated offices, currently headed by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Information.
We therefore urge all media houses and journalists not to publish or disseminate any information forwarded by unauthorized individuals who may be attempting to misuse the name of the Institution for personal gain.
This measure is intended to safeguard the integrity of the ICU and to prevent the public from being misled.
