The Emorimor Papa Iteso III has announced a Mini Cabinet Reshuffle within the Iteso Cultural Union, introducing strategic changes aimed at strengthening institutional leadership, enhancing service delivery, and fostering unity across the Teso Kingdom.
The reshuffle reflects a deliberate effort to align the institution’s leadership with its core mandate of promoting cultural heritage, social cohesion, and sustainable development for the Iteso people.
New Cabinet Appointments
The following appointments take immediate effect:
• Minister of Cabinet Affairs – Hon. Oliver Tebaise
• Minister in Charge of Clan Affairs – Hon. Otwani Gabriel Opakasi
• Minister of Herbal Traditional Medicine – Hon. Imentur Jonathan
• Minister of Agriculture – Hon. Isengede Nathan
• Deputy Minister of Mobilization – Hon. Etyang Francis Ekembo
• Deputy Minister of Tourism – Hon. Eweku Charles
• Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant (Kampala Liaison Office) – Hon. Davidson Elyau
• Senior Advisor on Institutional Affairs – Papa William Alloch
Promoting Unity and Institutional Cohesion
A key highlight of the reshuffle is the appointment of Papa William Alloch as Senior Advisor on Institutional Affairs. A founding member of the Iteso Cultural Union, his recent reconciliation with the Emorimor following the withdrawal of a court case marks a significant step towards unity and institutional harmony.
This development underscores a renewed commitment to dialogue, reconciliation, and collective progress within the cultural institution.
Leadership Transition
In the changes announced, Hon. Stella Rose Ademun has been relieved of her duties as Minister of Cabinet Affairs and replaced by Oliver Tebaise. The transition forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen operational efficiency and leadership effectiveness within the Cabinet.
Commitment to Service and Development
The reshuffle reaffirms the Emorimor’s commitment to building a responsive and forward-looking institution that addresses the aspirations of the Iteso people.
