His Majesty Papa Emorimor Paul Sande Emolot Etomeileng, King of the Iteso People, together with Her Majesty Queen Toto Akaliait Juliet Among Emolot Atomeileng and their entourage, held a high-level strategic meeting with Mr. Kirtan Patel, the overall Chairperson of all the Nyumba Investment Group and Son of the late Patel Family Patriach, at the Tororo Cement Limited, headquarters in Mombasa, Kenya.
The engagement marked a significant milestone for the Ateker–Iteso community, as discussions yielded very positive and far-reaching outcomes, culminating in the establishment of a strategic partnership between Tororo Cement and the Iteso Cultural Union. This partnership is expected to play a key role in supporting cultural and developmental initiatives of the Kingdom.
This important development comes at a pivotal time as the Iteso Cultural Union embarks on the construction of the Ere Iteso (Royal Palace), following the successful erection of the monument at the ICU Headquarters compound. The palace project stands as a major cultural landmark aimed at preserving Iteso heritage, strengthening unity, and providing a permanent seat for the Kingdom’s cultural leadership.
With construction plans already underway, the ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled to take place soon. In preparation for this historic undertaking, the fundraising drive has intensified, with full details and official announcements expected to be formally disclosed by the Kingdom Leadership.
